Club Meetings

1. Main Committee Meetings

These are held on the first Monday in the month (or the following week if the first Monday is a bank holiday) and attended by:

The purpose of these meeting is to discuss all areas of club business and always includes updates from:

· Race Committee
· Coaching Committee
· Treasurer

These meetings present an opportunity for members to raise issues that can then be discussed by the committee (please see Paul Wightman to include on the agenda).

2. Half Yearly Meeting

This is held in August and is an open meeting to which all club members are invited.

The meeting is chaired by Karl Chapman (Chairman) and minuted by Paul Wightman (Secretary).

After briefings from club officials on current activities, the main purpose of the meeting follows by opening up the floor for questions to be raised via the Chair on any aspect of the club's operation.

Please note that under the new committee of 2003, quarterly meetings will no longer be held.

3. Annual General Meeting (AGM)

This is held in February and is a meeting to which all club members are formally invited to attend.

The meetings are chaired by Karl Chapman (Chairman) and minuted by Paul Wightman (Secretary).

The purpose of the meeting is to:

· Approval of minutes of previous AGM and discussion of any items raised
· Receive presentations from the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Race Chairman and Head Coach
· Elect Club Officials for the forthcoming year
· Receive Any Other Business

4. Race Committee Meetings

These are held periodically throughout the year.

5. Coaching Committee Meetings

These are held periodically throughout the year.
